The girls would play better football though with a few well taken goals! Plenty of chin tickling in the baths afterwards and Coburn doing his famous mangina impression!

I think the England Ladies goalkeeping would let them down. While Rachel Brown is one of the better keepers in Ladies football she messed in the game against U.S.A. The disappointing feature in last years Women's World Cup was the goalkeeping errors. The other point is that there doesn't seem to be many tall goalkeepers. I know the keeper that played at Chester City Ladies was 6 foot 2 , and I remember the Wolves keeper was quite tall and looked like Jana Novotna, but generally I think the average height for Ladies goalkeepers is 5 ft 8.
