Thanks Again!
« on: January 20, 2008, 11:43:16 AM »

You have got to be the best day out in the Conference, another cracking day out to Alty, absolutely unbeatable.

As for the match, a shame York City only turned up for the last half hour and I had my head in my hands at 2-0 wondering how I was going to face the lads in the bar after the game! You should have put it to bed really but, strangely, I ended up disappointed with only 1 point. In hindsight, a fair result, I don't think you'll have much trouble staying up.

Thanks very much to Mr Heathcote for donating me his match programme. Are you lot sure there were only 348 York there?!?

See you next season, thanks again.

The York turnout looked to me to be the biggest away following since we returned to the Conference National in 2005, in fact I believe that the last time we had as many away fans at Moss Lane was the FA Trophy game with Shrewsbury in February 2004.

A great game yesterday with something for everyone I thought.Colin Walker said he was "happy with a point utimately" which is more gracious than many BSP managers would have been in my view!

Is Woolford under contract at York? Forget the classic one-season wonder at FGR, Woolford is the best all round player I have seen at this level for years. Every time I have seen York on tv it has been the same and it is a miracle that a league club haven't been in for him.

would say that away support was only matched by northwich 2 years ago (not played them at home yet this year)

Yeah fair play to the York crew was chatting to few of your boys in the Station for a good while straight after the game. Good bunch. Good luck for the rest of the season
