Great video on local football....the ups, downs.....everything.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this....just thought you'd like to see this.

Great video, great song. Great thought provoker. Why do we bother?!

Is local football better than....well, the Big Teams

Iknow that being a young-ish Diamond fan, I have supported them for one good year, and the rest have been crap. Thats it. Relegation, struggle, relegation..... My friends think I'm mad! My mum says on various occasions ''Can't you just ditch them/ They bring too much grief!''. I see her point. It makes sense. But I can't!

Local football. Is it worth it?

Because its real honest football played by players who care and try, and its all at a sensible price.

My 10 year old is a Fulham supporter and I took him along to see them v Wigan on Saturday. Wigan.....that name rings a bell?

Anyway I admit Fulham are no Chelsea/Arsenal/Man U, but it was £25 for me, only a fiver for him mind, £3 for a programme, £3 for a TINY plastic bottle of Fosters. As for the match well it was crap, low on skill and lower on committment. as for atmosphere there simply isn't any, just lots of hand clapping and feet stamping on the stand fllor. It was virtually American.

Premier League....you're havin a laugh!

Thats why.

Much rather get in at Alty with my ST, £10 for Mrs Saughall, £10 in the bar and £5 at the burger van.
When you take in the programme and the throat pastilles for afterwards, there's still change from £30!
A bargain.  ;)
