Now Aspinall is suspended who will play right back? I wouls assume Scott with Peyton left back. This does deprive us of an attacking left sided player so do you think Bowler will get a start?

We are going to miss Asa on Sunday,  think he has been preitty consistent this season.

Scott will have to play there?

I would be suprised if he plays Bowler.

It would have to be Bush instead of Eddie or Val, unfortunately - Lewis and Robbie are cert starters for me.

My team would include Scotty at Right back too.  Peynton at left back? Its a real dilemma in the midfield though.  For me, it must be based around Lawton the middle, not on the right of midfield.  If he does play on the right he should be asked to play narrow and not a awide man.  Most of you have been at the games and seen him drive through the middle.  Bowler is not the answer wide left for me.  Also Eddie is a bit away from getting a start but am going tonight so maybe aI will see a bit more of him to judge.

How does this sound
Coburn
RB Rose
CB Talbot
CB Munroe
LB Scott
RM Thornley
CM Lawton (pushing on)
CM Bushell (getting on the ball)
CM Owen (breakiinf attacks)
LM Chalmers
CF Little

4  5  1  for York Away?

My team,
Acton - our best player for two months
Scott - understudy for Azza
Peyton - the best option in a position we have nobody for!
Munroe - improving by the match
Rose -  consistent
Hussin - tackler
Bushell - playmaker
Lawton - roaming runs forward
O'Neil - to play behind the front two
Thomson - one up front was disastrous v York last year
Little - the only one who can score!

Chalmers - sub cos he's knackered!
Hendley - sub cos he's quick and can come on late
Thornley - as Hendley
Bandy - great cover in all positions at the back
Coburn - sorry Stu

I am not a manager. Some may argue that the above team is too attacking for York away and we would get trounced. But, I was at the York match last year and we were trounced with a defensive team, so what have we got to lose? I don't think many of us are particularly optimistic anyway and would rather save players for Crawley, but if they are all fit, let's give it a go for the sake of the 200 or so fans who make the trip. Please, please GH, not another York or Morecambe away when we not only lost, but we didn't have a single shot.

Re: Brian Rooney's team.

That must be the most atacking team we've fielded in last 3 years.

I like it, lets have a go at them.

No takers for 4-5-1 with Eddie and Val sitting in and Lawton just ahead?

Not a good idea, no disrespect to eddie but he even looked slugish in the reserves last night, no chance against the likes of panther

This is what I would do Sunday

Coburn

Scott
Talbs
Munroe
Peyton

Lawton
Val
Lewis

Rod
Col

Joe

In a 4 - 5 - 1 with three centre midfielders and col and roderick playing of joe,

PS - remember rose does not look like he will be fit and eddie, bush, thompson and potts all looked of
the pace last night

Isn't it a bit too far away from December for the "Christmas Tree" formation?   ;D ;D  ::)
