no, the club will not have to raise a million, the Shay Stadium Trust has to, which only has a representative from the clubs on it. The SHAY STADIUM TRUST will find the 1million not HALIFAX TOWN.

And Gaz, the reason the conference are on our cases about the ground, had something to do about it being 3 sided at first...(which i find quite funny, considering half the league only use 3 sided grounds) and the 2nd thing was, that there were inadequate corporate facilties at the ground, basically you had  towalk fron the weavers(sponsors/bar resturant at ground) then outside the ground through main carpark and then back in to go sit in the seats on the east stand.

Maybe the people involved in the Shay Stadium Trust should put there money into giving back what's owed to all the independant businesses who are out of pocket!!

Far from crazy pavements........the taste of silver spoons, it's a clinical arrangement etc

Now then Baldrick, John Cooper Clarke : You are really taking me back to my days in dingy cellar bars at 4am (when the legal closing time was 2am and raves and madchester had not even been invented)...........tide mark around the shoes next morning etc...................but why Beesley Street ?

I have no sympathy for halifax or their fans if they do go bump.

their parting shot to me on their forum was

we're in BSP your playing in BSN

get used to it

you might take 50 to droylsden.

lets see how many they take to witton.

they were calling us for hoping they go bust so we can get a reprieve yet they expect all and sundry to accept 2.5p so they can carry on in the conference......todays meeting has been a farce as they knew they had to offer 10p in the pound and they started off offering sponsorhip of a stand that isn't built...they nit pick as to wether the HMRC £499.999 is just over or just below the 25% threshold and it's a formality of paperwork...then we find it's £800k odd.....

No she is getting changed in the back room. John Cooper Clarke is the warm up man, he has just gone on the stage and is about to recite Beesley Street.

Evidently Chicken Town!  ;D

Wierd meeting though, why spend all day going through all that palava and then when it comes to talking abouit the inland revenue saying its almost twice as big as it was thought, might have been easier to have started the meeting with it and saved money on the butties.

I thought someone might remember John Cooper Clarke. Beesley Street was always the opener in the long dead Music Machine in Camden Town. Kung Fu international was my favourite but I married a monster from outer space was brilliant. Anyone under 40 will have no idea what we are on about. You never see a nipple in the Daily Express.
