Its threads like this that highlight to me how important it is that we perform better on the field this season and stay up on our football merit and not because of other teams woes.

I still believe however we cant be held accountable as a club if other teams risk there own survival chances by spending more than they get in revenue.

Its pretty simple maths really Revenue into the club = Outgoings spent by the club

If only football was run like that at every level we would see real competition.

The scary thing is that there appears to be no let up in the amount of money being thrown around by clubs at this level. If the latest figures being paid by Northwich are to be believed it really is a question of when and not if they find themselves in trouble again. It's utter stupidity.

Your right; lets just hope though that we can pay it no attention and finish out of the bottom 4

From the BBC: "Wolleaston makes Rushden switch.

Cambridge United midfielder Rob Wolleaston has joined Rushden & Diamonds for an undisclosed fee.
Wolleaston, 28, joined the U's from Oxford United in 2006 and made 52 appearances for the club last season.
The former Chelsea trainee becomes the seventh player to leave the Abbey in the last month."
