Have this evening received an email from an old friend who has heard that Dino and new owners are not on speaking terms!!!!! Apparently Dino has been signing players on wages in the region of £700 per week and this has not gone down too well! My informant also tells me that Vics are going to train on an all weather pitch at Stockport. Has anyone else heard these rumours?

Whilst your on about the use of all weather pitches for training purposes I wonder if the club are aware that a brand new full size pitch with floodlighting/carparking and new changing facilities has only just been completed in the last week or so adjacent to/behind Broadoak Tech School at Partington. I understand that the other big team in Trafford are already signed up for its use! Do we still use the facilities at BTH?

As for Dino, perhaps he`s earned the right to flash the cashat the moment and the speccies will no doubt adore him all the more for it. But I, as an older Robin can still remember going down to the Drill Field one Sunday afternoon, too many years ago, when they had a long queue of Viccies dropping coins into a bucket on a table placed in the middle of the pitch to try and stave off one of their many near misses with bancruptsy. Only time will tell - good look Dino! Ps: I hear Christiano is possibly on the market - go on give it a try!

Yep, BTH still used by the club and Juniors at some considerable cost.

I can see Vics getting into bother again in a few years.

I thought Nottingham Forrest or someone like that were after Paul Taylor?

Taylor was on trials at Leeds, towards the end of last season.
I suppose that the fact Leeds haven't put a bid in suggests they believe he is not up to League 1 standard.
