I'd be over the moon with us sixth bottom and Vics bottom at the end of the season!

I would indeed take that but sides below are going to start picking up points soon. Currently you dont know wherte our next win is going to come from

Last season at Histon if we were still playing now we would still be on nil. Same score I know but sounds like we made a fist of it. Another win will come and with it the confidence.

Lots of teams at our level are difficult to play against due to us being a relatively small side while most teams have a number of very tall often fast players. I'd love a big fast 6' 4" rangey striker, they create panic in defences without necessarily being the most skillful.

I for one never expected anything from tonight's game. Eastbourne yes, Kettering and Barrow yes but not there.

John Beck got Cambridge within a sniff of the old Div 1 with that style of play, it is very difficult to play against.

Like one or two more on the site, I have strong feelings now so prefer not to comment until I've slept on it.

I wish a few more of the knee-jerkers felt the same sometimes ... but they're all entitled to say what they believe and at this moment, I might find myself agreeing ...

hence, see you all tomorrow.

Come on ALTY.

Sadly, it is not a case of who I would bring in, because Goodwin and Co. will NOT get rid of the postman.Or is it a case of Heathcote not getting rid of the board??

worryingly thats three times we have failed to score in the last five games despite the "improved" forward line-up. We've scored 7 goals in 7 games so far this season and 5 of those came in the 1st two matches.

Indeed although I f**kin wish I was wasn't.

I too will not post a knee jerk reaction.

It just makes me laugh that people talk about "getting rid" or the like.  You must know enough about the board to know that there is no chance of them ever "getting rid" and advertising in the Times for a vibrant young manager as someone mentioned.

Its only going to get messier I fear.

See you Saturday, full support as ever.
