Sorry Brian I see no reason for any apology profuse or otherwise - after the first few games Doughty was poor and didn't deserve a place in the team.

He has come back and now does deserve his place. For that he deserves congratulation but definitely not an apology..

If that were the case then ONeedham would probably spend every other match apologising to Warren Peyton  ;)

It's obviously the stresses and strains of BSP management. Isn't this the same Liam Daish who got yellow carded for playing a trumpet to celebrate a goal whilst playing for Birmingham?
