Ah the nostalgia! I had one of those in my scarf collection. Also the printed traditional style plus the really Man U versions of red white black and white red black. Bobble hats were optional then.........like rosettes and rattles.

on the wall not eight feet from this very desk is pinned the red version,       not sure but we may have progressed to wearing such things on our heads by then,

below which is the photo i posted on here a few months ago and my photo with freddie flintoff in the high commisson club New Delhi, shortly b4 i beat him and darren gough at snooker and worringly on the shelf next to it is a very slim looking gazelle attempting to gut barge jed tootill of the dancefloor in majorca

My London Alty* mate still has an inflatable Robin by his desk at work......confuses the sh1t out of the staff I'm, told.

* non affiliated SW, SE, and N branch plus some godforsaken place south of Croydon. Where do you live again DL?

SW think I've mentioned it before but my old man still has a red and a white scarf like the e bay one up in the attic with a ton of old Robins Reviews and an old Alty shirt of mine.  The shirt is circa '78 with the 2 buttons and black collar.  Classy!

I've still got my flag - bought for my (then) 3 year old daughter off a cockney flag seller - from the 78 final with the legend ALTRINGHAM on it. I always smile when other teams/papers/internetees call us that  :D
