Don't know, I also saw one post on the Oxford forum caliming that we had been singing racist songs, which is clearly a load of rubbish!

Probably just bitter at losing to lowly little old Alty!

We have never sang a racist song at Alty in my 20 years of watching. Ever.

possibly the booing of onuwadadoobydoo when he was subbed was construed as racist.
when we all know he is a diving cheat who has won two pens against us with dives and that is the only reason he was booed followed by a chant of cheat cheat if i recall correctly

and i did think the singers were a bit fatist at one stage

that's not fair on yemi at all. the dive perpetrated after he'd gone off was of a far higher standard than he ever could have dreamed of......

I have left the following comment on that site which has gone down like a sack of s*!t

You aren't a very good team are you? Being beaten by a part time outfit that has a healthy bank balance must hurt. Our ground may be small but we do have four sides. Anyway if the best you can do is call us racist fu*ks thats fine. Won't see you again as you are going the same way as Halifax, Scarborough, Boston etc etc.

If I'd made the above post I would not have publicised the fact. Not the most intelligent thing I've ever read in all honesty.

i know its not nice to tease the big boys but

i think you should go back on scottie and tell the bloke that replied that he should get used to it week in week out and also ask him why he has the signature oxford rip 2009 if he is so positive about things. the apologise for being grumpy just because somebody who started the thread is telling lies as there is no way there was racist chants on sunday

Since automatic relegation/promotion arrived in 87 I think, many league sides have visited us poor non leaguers and returned stronger wiser clubs. Many did a very professional if cynical job, Lincoln anyone, however after a few years, as in all, the competition levels out. Oxford are one of our "visitors" who felt they had the immediate right to return to their cosy 92 club, sorry all, you didn't make it. The parachute payment that we don't get is spent, you are here now, like plenty other ex FL sides too. Accept it, and try to build again as the show of arrogance is starting to amuse me. Some former league sides drop down with dignity and embrace the new world, others don't.

Sorry Jim, read your comment but I couldn't help myself! Haha.

we can say what we like on our own forum

they do make you laugh because some of them still seem to think that getting 4000 crowds makes them a big club, but the table doesnt lie
you are right that some clubs have a bit of dignity about them. that forum that caused this thread id full of wrexham, oxford, torquay, cambridge all claiming to be big clubs, but you dont hear it from mansfield
