Having the read the messages from yesterdays game, everyone is in agreement that Lawton is so valuable to the team.  I don't come every game but when I do, the lad is everwhere.  It looked like he played in front of Bushell and Owen yesterday, love to see him play there again.  When GH, changed the shape (which I think was an error) Lawton could,t drive forward being stuck on the right.  If we can all see this, GH should.  And, give him the arm band back, Bushell  has done nothing to warrant a captaincy where Lawton shouts and remains vocal.

By the way 2 in 2 for Owen, come on Val!!!

I agree.

Lawton is at his best when driving forward a bit like a certain number eight for Liverpool.

I'd like to see Lawton play in the middle between two strikers, with maybe Bushall holding, Chalmers on the right and Payton on the left.

Bushall has skippered a team to the playoff final which could be in GH's thinking. But then again how many ex-skippers are in the team at the moment?
