Centre Back from Stockport who played in the friendly that was abandoned against Wrexham. Think he might of also played abit for Vauxhall recently. Looks like a very good player based on tuesday, certainly better than Waterfall.

Yes, actually thinking of clubcall, it might seem a little bit of a dinosaur in today's internet age where you can get virtually any information anywhere at anytime.

Back in the day it was hugely popular with all top flight and football league clubs and for ALty fans, Flynny's updates were truly the only way to fnd out the scores from Slough/Merthyr/Dover on a midweek night.

Bearing in mnd that very few people had mobile phones in the early to mid 90s.

I think the only person I recall having one was Wes, cos I phoned him during the 2-2 draw at Merthyr (France goal,Emmett miss etc)/
