I think everyone shopuld follow the link to the Goodwin parkinggate story and post a comment in support of our chairman.

A possible helpful comment has already been posted that geoff may or may not find useful;

Traffords parking tickets are illegal regardless of the yellow line, the Moses v Barnett case heard in the high court ruled that tickets such as traffords which do not have BOTH a date of issue AND the date that the vehicle was seen are non compliant illegal and non enforceable, see neil herons site Metric martyrs for more info

I find it staggering that double yellows are put in to enable coaches to park safely and then a coach is ticketted while carrying out a council contract......local councils up and down the country are stooping to lower and lower and more ridiculous depths to steal more and more money from the the public to pay for their gold plated pensions and wasting of our hard earned money that they rake in in council tax.
Councils and governments are voted in to SERVE THE PUBLIC..when will they realise this?
