Quality result!!! Well done boys!!

Not gonna say i told you so but I told you so!! ;)

I'm not sure what happened this season we adopted this 3 upfront formation and had an amazing run then think we lost one and we changed it all and seemed to be going backwards and becoming negative.  >:(

Then we played our 3 upfront formation against Northwich and beat them then second half today we changed to that formation again and won!!

So why don't we just play this formation all the time?? ??? There are NO qualty teams in this league we can beat any of them!! Burton are top and they aren't anything special!!

POSITIVE FOOTBALL& FORMATION FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!

so, who do we need to buy/loan in January?

2 central midfielders if robbie and ant are, out rest of squad is fine

Its good that Dale is really finding his feet at this level - but at his height he has a long way to look!

Obviously we can't afford someone like lewis chalmers like has been mentioned the last few weeks but what about Liam King?

Someone said on here a while ago that he's too similar to Danylyk, but if he's out surely there's a place in the team for him? Last i heard he was at Matlock town or something. He seemed far too good for that when we had him last year

Would like to see (realistically) returns for Liam King and also maybe Val Owen?

Ye i put up a few weeks back that we should get Liam King if we needed reinforcements.  The lad would do the job if we got him in in my opinion.

Excellent result came on here just as York took the lead decided needing cheering up so went down stairs and watched porridge flicked to sky sports news at 1645 to seee York 1 Alty2 danced around the room the kids friends thought i had lost the plot. Did Ballers do the sprint to break the segregation tape again? A good end to 2008 for all at Alty. :D :D

I can't understand Liam King going to a lower level for footballing reasons.

Has he got a good job or some course he's taking somewhere close to Matlock?

Fantastic result! It seems since our 4-0 thrashings the players bucked their idea's up! Lets hope for more of the same on New Years Day! We will have a large number of supporters, and with it being on the TV, its a chance to show the Big Time TV Charlies we are a decent part time outfit who can compete in the league!

Well done lads, 3 points which we needed, after a couple of disappointing results in recent weeks. Dale seems to be having a gr8 christmas period in his football career! Bring on Vics

They must have been offended by my dmage limitation comment..a superb three points which I thought was beyond us.

Someone who could go today said the tactics were spot on.

I really don't agree with the attack at all costs theory though...at home yes but away it should be 4-4-2
