I would just like to thank Colin for his efforts, when fully fit he was a good winger, and brought excitement to the fans.

Cheers Pottsy  :D :D :D

His part in our playoff winning season was massive. A real shame about his fitness problems but he's a top bloke and will always be very well thought of at Moss Lane.

Good luck for the future Colin!

I'd sooner have seen us release Justin Bowler!

Best wishes to Pottsy and thanks for all the entertainment.

Sadly, I don't think releasing Mr Bowler was an option.

Cheers Pottsy, top bloke and a very skillful player.

Sorry to hear the news about Colin but it's been on the cards, I guess.

Colin's been a favourite of mine in his time with us and I wish him all the best for the future.

One of the many good Pottsy memories: two inch-perfect crosses for the goals that won us the match as Aldershot last season.

 >:( >:(We should have never released him. He was one of our more positive players. If only he was given a chance in the conference. We can't continue scrapping for draws in this defensive fashion. I've a feeling of dejavu....

The official site says he was released at his own request. I personally think it's best for all, if he plays for Alty he needs to be fully fit, which he's not at the moment.

I'm sure Pottsy will go on to be a great signing for a Nationwide North/Unibond Prem club.

Good luck Pottsy and thanks for all the memories!!

I can understand why he left if he's not getting regular games, but he will be missed.  All the best Pottsy...

Don't know why we're all saying goodbye to Pottsy. If the guy can get his fitness back, we'll probably re-sign him - he's only 28! Would love to see him back and fit for Alty. Good luck in the meantime...
