weymouth

i have just spent the last 20 minutes trying to make head or tail of the labyrinth that is the take over of weymouth
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/weymouth/7858880.stm
http://www.terras-talk.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5694

it seems the takeover is by the people who own the stadium at peterboro and at rushden, are on the board at rushden, and are serial offenders, however if this doesnt happen weymouth are likely to fold
if anyone would like to walk me through the maze i would be grateful

I don't know wether this is depressing or farcical. I have followed these two links and to date the following clubs are in deep financial sh*t :

Oxford
Weymouth
Northwich
Lewes
Grays
Salisbury

The sub text of all this is that even if we came in the bottom four there is no chance we would be relegated as so many clubs would be going bust.
Not a good advert for non league football.

make that either weymouth or rushden as those involved in the takeover appear to be the money men at rushden so what happens there if they pull out?

weymouth takeover collapses
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/weymouth/7885841.stm

Have just been surfing the Weymouth forum. General feeling is depressing reading.
Between the lines, it looks like another 'land deal' could be in the offing.

Dont catch your chickens before they are hatched. Of these 6 Lewis and Northwich will almost certainly finish in the bottom 3.
Grays and Salisbury are strong cnadidates for the other 2 places
