A couple of weeks ago, TASC launched the appeal for supporters to donate used mobile phones to the club.
We have already got 15 mobile phones in from supporters, but we want more! We have set ourselves a target of 100 mobiles before the end of the season.
Can you help? If you, your family or any friends have any spare mobiles which are not being used, please donate them to the appeal. As with all TASC fund raising appeals, all money raised will go straight to the football club.
If you are local, please bring any old phones you have to the ground on any match day or to the office during normal working hours on any working day. If you are not able to get to the ground, phones can be posted to the club at the usual address (see below).
TASC will continue to update this thread with the number of mobiles on an ongoing basis to help show the progress to our target.

We now have 23 phones with a current total of over £80.
Please have a search and bring in any old phones you have around, whether working or not. It doesn't matter how old they are either (chargers not needed).
This is a great way of making money out of otherwise useless items.
Anyone who has any queries please contact me by pm or email or in person.
Phones can be brought to a match or brought into the offices any day of the week.

This is a really impressive initiative, I didn't think we would raise this much. Well done Foz! BRING YOUR OLD PHONES TO THE STEVENAGE GAME AND PUT THEM IN THE BOX BY THE BAR OR HAND THEM INTO THE CLUB DURING THE WEEK. I'M GOING TO GET MY OLD ONE NOW!! |

This is a really impressive initiative, I didn't think we would raise this much. Well done Foz! I'm just trying to promote this. I have to say a big thanks to Pete Hughes for suggesting this idea and his initial guidance on it. And another big thanks to Sarah Rowley for all her help in dealing with the phones! |

Couple of questions on this. 1) My phone broke the other week...Are broken phones accepted? 2) I have had the phone for a couple of years and it is rather scratched...Still accepted? If so i will bring it down tomorrow. |
