Was it Bernard Taylor's first match in charge or possibly something to do with playing on a Sunday?

Mister Flynn may well now be in his sixth decade but there is no sign of the master losing his magic touch just yet.

It was indeed Bernard Taylor's first match as Altrincham's manager (a 1-0 home win over Accrington Stanley).

John King resigned as Alty manager on 5th March 1998.

Is this the point to churn out the old one about the new celebration issue of barbie coming out, "Divorce Barbie" ... the one which comes with all Kens accessories!

Ahem. I'll get my coat ...
