I think we need to start the marketing now to maximise season ticket sales, this will give people more time to pay for them.

We should be building this season up to get people through the turnstiles, get the newpapers reporting it now, the messenger surely could help us out here wih some good back page headline?

Agreed Jenga...I do think we fall down a little on the marketing sometimes (part time/volunteers allowed for..not a criticsm etc etc)

For example, I reckon our admission will be the cheapest in the league next year.

There is signs outside the ground (the ones which usually show next home game etc) which have the season ticket prices on them with the discounts shown if you buy during pre season, i know its not enough, but its something..

Question for anyone from the club who reads this:

Have the kid's season tickets been advertised in schools or is it intended to do so? I would be inclined to get posters put up in every local school possible and try to get the offer read out in assemblies etc.

There's a real opportunity here, especially with the tickets being as cheap as they are!

That is actually a very good call 1981, as the schools break up in July and the season starts mid August before they return early September. Any such marketing needs to be done NOW!!

Replaces Burton which was the easiest to get to this season. Was home for 5.30.
