have gone into recivership today, i'm not sure of the situation there are they paying big wages? or is it just a case of a small club getting less fans due to poor performances and not being able to survive??

They have survived at a lower level than what they're playing at now, and there are worse supported clubs in a better state, so I'd suspect that they spent money they never had.  Same old story

So is it actual receivership (ie gone bust) or the usual admin and 10 points deduction?

Sounds like they had an ownership similar to crawley....only without any money at all.

Did you hear about the portakabin boss who was summonsed to Lancaster and the owner placed an order for about 50 of the things without even asking the price?...the portakabin boss sussed there was something amiss and departed without ever processing the order (which was never chased up...you'd think you'd start asking after a few months "wonder when them 50 portakabins will arrive").

Sad..Lancaster have survived at a certain level for years with their access to athletic students at the Uni...same old story of someone trying to take them out of their depth.
