no the FA open tomorrow and so any appeals will be heard before sat, the reason barton got away with playing today was because of teh fa closing for christmas and not having time to fit the appeal in

Well done to all the players and staff from me here in New Zealand.
It was a good win by the sounds of it and it's great to see such big crowds at an Alty game.
I think i first went to watch Alty in early '92 (at the age of 5 ) so I'd say it's the biggest crowd since I've been a fan!

Yep, the biggest gate since the glory days of 90-91, interesting now to see how many stay with us for Satd, I'm no betting man but I imagine it will be in the 1250 bracket. Some of those floating fans yday tho must surely want to come back now, that was incredible. Satd as has been said elsewhere tho is a MASSIVE game.

As Vics brought 450-500, good turn out too TBF, where did our extra 900 or so come from? That's like double the usual, so why can't they come along more often? I'm not local now so not sure if well marketed, but whatever there is a very tappable market there. Just 100 of that extra would bring in £1000 a game plus progs, pies etc. The lads clearly did the biz this time, (how often have we gone t*ts up in front of a big crowd) so lets hope and pray some come back.

Also, seen on the vid Vics in yellow...........what happened to tradition? Yellow slime!!
