I am encouraged to see that Craney has been playing every game for Swansea and doing well. The transfer seems certain to happen now.

Is there any way then that Accrington can do us out of our money? If there really is a clause in his contract saying that if any club offers one hundred and fifty thousand pounds he must be allowed to speak to them, surely that makes it that much harder for them to muddy the waters by involving other players in the deal.

I know their first offer to us was derisory and that they were highly incompetent over Robinson, but will they really try and cheat us out of 75000, and more importantly, can they?

Let's hope don't get shafted as usual!!

GH states in the programme yesterday we would be due half of any cash deal.

I would suspect what helps us is that Craney allegedly had to go for a certain amount. Therefore, his own value is clear from the start.

It also helps that we've made no secret of the clause before any financial deal's been publicly struck.

Going off this, if somebody was "thrown in", Accrington Mk 3 are risking a PR disaster at the very least.  Still can't help but think they'll try it though...  ;)

as was said  the mimimum fee release in his contract will help us as no one will believe that they would allow him to go for less that that.

Is it a mimum fee release or that after a certain bid the player was able to be talked to, I know VERY similair sounding but that might be away out for them ?
