I am greatly relieved to have missed all of Dochertys games as Alty manager. Stuck in the wilds of India at the time as I was, I never witnessed it I find it and consequently find it quite easy to pretend it didn't happen.

Well, I suppose that it wasn't all bad.....

After all, we did 1-0 win at Macc in the GMAC Cup whilst he was in charge, in our first competitive fixture against the Milkmen since March 1982 (owing to them being in a league below us for years).
