I don't think knocking £3 off will have any affect on the attendance. People don't consider the price when deciding whether or not to go to a game. If they did nobody would ever go to Oxford.

Be that as it may, the club still deserves credit for at least trying to do something.

Never liked the CSC. In days of yore, I always considered it a bothersome distraction. Even though I can now see the logic of needing to win something and get some much needed cash, I still can't summon up any enthusiasm for what I consider a meaningless trophy. Probably the wrong attitude, but I can't help it. If we get any injuries it will be a disaster. Why we can't at least field some fringe players is beyond me, if it's good enough for Premiership teams in the Carling cup, I don't see why the Cheshire FA should be so high and mighty. Still haven't forgiven them for fining us when we played a weakened side against Cammell Laird on a Tuesday afternoon (if I remember correctly). Muppets.

I think this game comes at just the right time as we had no game today.

On the the whole though it really should be a pre-season tourny.

Sadly I will be making the trip from Shropshire on my own tonight. Mrs Traveller hasnt passed a lunchtime fitness test and is still feeling too ill to travel (Fair weather supporters eh)?

The league clubs cant be too happy neither there now in the Premier cup and there is only 4 clubs entered, so the teams start at the semi Final stage. madness
