A poor game with few chances. Disappointing goal to concede as it was a poor pass by Kearney, and we had 3 chances to clear and only did half the job.

McAliskey did pull his hamstring and was not kicking about before the game or half time, so really we had no option height wise upfront. Clee looked unsure first 20 mins about whether he was left back of left wing back.

As I said to Ecky on the way back, we will finish 11th and Crawley will finish 10th based on that. Onwards to Tuesday, where we should be getting 3 points

(And it's coming to something when I started every song today!!)

A very mid table affair, sod all happened in the whole game to be honest. Crawley just about edged it though and it was a quality header to win the game by Ademeno, he could not have placed it better, he had that extra bit of class when it mattered. I think we missed Mcaliskey, away from home him and Senior have forged a decent partnership and we were certainly lacking up top today. Overall we just weren't quite at the races. The new lad had about 20 odd minutes, he showed promise, one excellent run and cut back but unfortunately there was no one at the end of it. We were solid (goal aside) at the back but going forward we didn't do that much, nor did Crawley to be honest but them's the breaks.

So, there really wasn't much in it but the key was probably home advantage more than anything else, Steve Evans still dyes his hair and that attedance was pisspoor that was our 5th visit to the Broadfield Stadium today, fair to say there's going to be a 6th next season.

Two sides who cancelled each other out, we had two shots from outside the box and a header that went just wide....they had the goal and a header that went just wide.....would have had that new lad on from the start, we missed someone to hold the ball up.

Very friendly stewards and extremely polite snack bar servers.....couple of donkeys, dogs and monkeys in the main stand....and a pillock in their dug out.

I just knew they were gonna score from the moment their No8 clattered late into Stuart (for the second time) well after Stu had cleared the ball and the ref did absolutly nothing....either time had Stuart been 'professional' and gone down holding his head the No8 would have been sent off....Stu's clearance led to a spell of 90secs pressure until the ball was finally headed in...by their No8....absolutly inevitable.

Excellent silly walk warm up by the officials before the match....backs straight, heads in the air, self important knees up strut run.

It sounded a bit of a dire game reading the posts from those that went. Lets hope we can get back to winning ways on Tues against Eastbourne. (will Dino be handing out the medals during half time)  :D

It wasn't a good game, very scrappy, Senior had no one to play off and why do we play it long to him when he is marshalled effectively, he wasn't really going to get behind the defence on a run. Cold, flat atmosphere, small crowd. The new lad had a short run out and the jury is still out there, he had a good run at the full back and got past but the cross was behind the attacking players. He looked enthusiastic though. No name on the shirt yet, or perhaps it won't fit on!
The stewards were friendly, but whoever was making monkey noises and hee hawing in the seats was a prize pillock.

Highlight of he game was when that pillock in the main stand shouted that one of their players should play for England to which came the loud reply "He's Canadian, Bob!"
