All would more than likely be based in the south, so the travelling might be a bit excessive, plus to be honest, with all respect, some members of the weymouth squad have been at every club thats gone financially tits up in the last three years, and them jumped on to the next big pay day, and for all there supposed talent I wouldnt want them within a million miles of here.

Are Alty the only Non-League club left that Lee Elam has NOT played for?!

If we need a centre back then Luke Pritchard has just been released by Rotherham, by all accounts he was a decent centre back but held back by injury.  It's funny how a few months ago people were desperate for a new defender with Talbot and Band unavailable and Munroe struggling but things just seem to have turned around

probably expensive or too expensive for us ?

Does anyone really believe that we have the money available in our weekly wage budget to sign any player who has been on full time wages this season ? We'd struggle to sign a player thats been on part time wages.

Remember we are still getting out of a financial mess and lets not suddenly get carried away with money we don't have, unless you want to end up like Weymouth ?

As others have said, the kind of players who turned out for Weymouth have "done the rounds" of boom and bust clubs and are not the type I'd want here anyway (even if we could afford them).
I much prefer living within our means with a team that gives the fans 110%.

Come on you Robins!

I reckon someones bound to take advantage of the situation, i do agree about the south thing though, i reckon at this level relocation is a bigger deal to these players,as for wages surely they cant all be on big money, they only came up last season

surely they cant all be on big money, they only came up last season

They've been on "Big Money" and full time since 2005
When we played them in the Trophy they were throwing money at players left , right and centre and we were given little chance at the Wessex Stadium ..

just read this comment from the "History" section of their website ... How true .. How True
On July 3rd 2005 the club turned professional, on a full time basis, thus becoming football's only full time side outside of the National Conference. The hope is that this move will enable us to emulate Grays Athletic and win promotion back to the National level of the game and move forward from there.
