A Song For Pat
« on: January 10, 2007, 04:38:37 PM »

Noticing that Pat unfortunately does not have a song/chant at present has inspired me to suggest the following (be kind, it's my first time and I'm musically inept):

To the tune of 'Hang the DJ' at the end of Panic by The Smiths

Pat McFadden, Pat McFadden

Pat McFadden, Pat McFadden, Pat McFadden

Pat McFadden

My other idea was a variant on the Postman Pat theme tune.

Thoughts?

Goal Man Pat and his red and white hat (or shirt if you prefer)
Defender he was dreamin'
Pat has hit a screamer

Picky picky...

Wing man Pat, Wing man Pat
Wing man Pat and his red and white hat,  (we'll have to get him one 'cos shirt sounds much worse)
Defender he was dreamin'
Pat has crossed the ball in,
Pat's made Joe a really happy man

(Replace Joe with Col, Rod, Val as appropriate)

At the risk of setting myself up for a "whoosh" as per confguide for stating the obvious,

Because Pat has set him up for a goal.  ;)
