I don't get to as many games giving where I live etc but when I've seen Col play his experience and movement shine through. His ability is second to none and is often the difference between our side and the others.

Colin Little is undoubtly a quality player but the only worry is what message does it send to our strikers who have been performing very well ? I'd like to see Col on the bench and to come on later on in the game . Depending on injuries of course .. Thoughts ?

Suppose its like when Coburn was out and Acton played in goal, Acton played VERY well but we all knew that Stu would go straight back in (as did Acton), maybe its the same with Colin ?

Graham usually makes the right decision.

I still think we have the space for 3 forwards in the team and a 3 man midfield ensures Lawton & Chalmers are closer to the centre where they seem better and more influential players.

I think you've got to play Colin Little every time - goals win matches and his chance to goal ratio is the best. As one of the last posts said, 3-man midfield a possibilty; tomorrow Lawton, Chalmers and Thornley with Little, thompson  and O'Neill up front . Would have to make sure that the strikers are constantly peeling off out wide. Mcfadden supersub

I agree.  Nobody should be an automatic choice to come straight back into the team, particularly if the replacements have done well.  I felt Acton was unlucky to lose his place to Coburn, as he'd played very well.  Likewise, we've scored 8 in the 4 games when Little's been off the pitch so we haven't been that shot shy recently. I'm not saying Little should be dropped but putting him straight back in could send out the wrong signals.
